Today we went to a fab Big Draw event at Prema Arts Centre run by Hannah Dyson, Eve Coy and Will Becher – and made twizzly things!

I forgot to post yesterday’s #inktober drawing, and today’s is just a scribble as I’m very tired! I don’t find it hard to draw every day but it can be tricky to remember/find time to post daily…
#inktober 14th, 15th & 16th…
On the 14th I nearly forgot so did a quick sketch late at night…
On the 15th I experimented with adding red pencil to pentel brush pen…
...and on the 16th we had some peculiar visitors at the end of our garden.
#inktober 13th: palette
Today I didn’t find time to draw anything, so for #inktober I’m posting a scrap of paper that started as I doodled a few characters then got reused as a palette as I tested out different inks last week.
Sometimes I think there’s more life in these scraps than in the finished pieces – I overlap colours as I test them in a way I daren’t try in something I’m going to show people. So…maybe I need to see if I can bring some of that into my artwork.
